The photo series 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴 originated from a previous project of mine that experienced an unexpected turn of events, resulting in the loss of all images of that project. As a response to this setback, a new set of images was created, and now, the absence of visual documentation becomes a pivotal element in this work.

In an attempt to reconstruct the time spent, the images delve into lingering unanswered questions. Is it possible to find meaning in what has been lost, or does the emptiness remain inevitable? Each image within the series represents a mental snapshot, an attempt to reclaim what was seemingly lost. The project culminates in the desire to merge with something greater than oneself—to fill the void and to explore memories, existing as a middle ground between fiction and reality. It attests to the realization that not all questions can be answered with words.

𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴 encapsulates a cathartic farewell and a metaphorical yearning to blend with one’s surroundings, to dissolve into the landscape—an uncomfortable and persistent quest to find meaning amidst loss; an ode to emptiness, an invitation to embrace mystery.
